Why do we do this?
Drown ourselves in a fantasy that we think is out of reach
When in reality it is more feasible than we think
The mind is the greatest limit to eternal happiness
A little bit of courage and effort is all we need
To take that Leap of Faith
And if we're lucky we might land on our feet
Where we always dreamed we could be.
As awful as it feels, rejection is temporary
While the joy of acceptance can last a lifetime
So isn't it worth it?
To find your answer rather than live a lifetime of uncertainty?
Be careful what you wish for
Because you just might get it all
There's nothing stopping you but yourself
So get out of your own way.
Dignity is overrated
Don't think
Just do it
Deal with the answer
When it comes.
